  • Lemon Sole Fishcake

    A lemon sole,feta and coriander fishcake, served with tartare sauce and a lemon wedge.
  • Country Pate with Caramelised Onion Chutney

    A course country pate served with toasted wholemeal bread and butter, a salad garnish and caramelised chutney.
  • Traditional Shepherd's Pie

    Lamb mince in a rich gravy, topped with creamy mashed potatoes and served with vegetables.
  • Tortellini with Spicy Sun-Dried Tomatoes (V)

    Cheese filled tortellini in a spicy sun-dried tomato sauce served with garlic bread.
  • Mixed Grill

    6oz gammon steak, 4oz rump steak, lamb chop, pork chop, Cumberland sausage, onions rings, half a grilled tomato, chips, peas and a fried egg. Not for the faint hearted!
  • Herb Crusted Cod

    A loin of cod, grilled with a herb and breadcrumb crust and served with asparagus and new potatoes.

About Us

The Hogs Head is situated in Westbourne, just one mile from Bournemouth Town Centre and its world famous beaches. It is the ideal location for exploring the Victorian shopping arcade and many designer boutiques that Westbourne has to offer. We offer a traditional Sunday carvery to compliment our main and snack pub food menu, and specials are also on offer every day. All major live sport is shown on our plasma televisions in the sports bar and we invite you to pop in for a game of pool. The extensive beer garden seating of the Hogs Head makes this a must visit pub for all the family!
